Q: What strengths or skills do you bring to this work?

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I also have Emotional Intelligence, Group Therapy, and Family Therapy training and over 5 years of counseling experience. All of my studies, training, and experiences have helped me interact and engage with multi – ethnic people successfully. I use my skills to connect with every couple and understand their needs so I can provide the best service they deserve, on such an important moment.

Tengo una licenciatura en psicología. También tengo formación en Inteligencia Emocional, Terapia de Grupo y Terapia Familiar y más de 5 años de experiencia en consejería. Todos mis estudios, capacitación y experiencias me han ayudado a interactuar y relacionarme con personas multiétnicas con éxito. Utilizo mis habilidades para conectarme con cada pareja y comprender sus necesidades para poder brindar el mejor servicio que se merecen, en un momento tan importante.

Q: What do you enjoy most about this work?

It’s such an honor to be a part of their special day and participate with my services. I feel joy knowing that they are going to remember this moment in their hearts for the rest of their lives. Also, my heart feels fulfilled when I learn from each couple’s unique love stories.

Q: ¿Qué es lo que más disfrutas de este trabajo?

Es un gran honor para mí ser parte de su día especial y participar ofreciendo mis servicios. Siento alegría al saber que van a recordar este momento en sus corazones por el resto de sus vidas. Además, mi corazón se siente satisfecho cuando aprendo de las historias de amor únicas de cada pareja.

Q: What characteristics do you see in couples that encourage you?

When I meet every couple, I see them so in-love, so caring for each other, and so giving that it is a great reminder that love is all around us. It’s also a reminder of my own vows, my promise and my own commitment that I have made. After each wedding, I leave with my heart full of love and joy and I always try to spread that positive energy. Love is contagious! It’s such a great honor to witness and more importantly to have the opportunity to help couples join their lives together in matrimony.

Q: ¿Qué características ves en las parejas que te animan?

Cuando conozco a cada pareja, los veo tan enamorados, tan cariñosos y tan generosos el uno con el otro que es un gran recordatorio para mí de que el amor está a nuestro alrededor. También, es un recordatorio de mis propios votos, mi promesa y mi propio compromiso que he hecho. Después de cada boda, me voy con el corazón lleno de amor y alegría y siempre trato de difundir esa energía positiva. ¡El amor es contagioso! Es un gran honor ser testigo y, lo que es más importante, tener la oportunidad de ayudar a las parejas a unir sus vidas en matrimonio.

Q: What personal experiences do you draw on when working with couples?

I strongly believe that love, in all of its forms, makes our world a better place and I’m committed to do my part. Every time I see couples willing to share their lives together, in the spirit of love, it encourages me to keep giving and helping others. “The greatest degree of inner tranquility comes from the development of love and compassion. Q: ¿Qué experiencias crees que podrías aprovechar al trabajar con parejas?

Creo firmemente que el amor, en todas sus formas, hace de nuestro mundo un lugar mejor y estoy comprometida a hacer mi parte. Cada vez que veo a las parejas dispuestas a compartir sus vidas juntas, con un espíritu de amor, me anima a seguir dando y ayudando a los demás. “El mayor grado de paz interior proviene del desarrollo del amor y la compasión.
