Q: How did you and Your Wedding Belles get started doing this type of work?

I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Theology and most of a Master’s in Counseling. I also have a law degree, which allowed me to do mediation. This is a great skill to work with in life coaching and couples coaching. I have years and years of training and experience in crisis intervention, counseling and coaching during my career in social services. I am currently a life, relationship and spiritual coach, teacher and speaker.

After several of my clients referred me to their friends to officiate weddings, I decided to add that to my menu of services as well. After having performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies, I still find every couple and love story unique and am inspired by each couples’ commitment to share a life together.

When my sister, Katie, and then my two best friends, Jill and Cindy, saw how much fun I was having and how inspiring it was to be involved in such a magical moment in couples’ lives, we decided to form Your Wedding Belles. Then, when I asked my dear friend, Alejandra to assist me with a bilingual Wedding, she decided she loved it so much that she joined us permanently. This began our ability to offer bilingual Wedding ceremonies and we now have three amazing bilingual Officiants!
